A CLEARER WORKFLOW

AI object remover: describe the space left behind.

The editor needs more than a request to erase. Explain what should remain and what the empty area should look like.

  1. 01

    Identify the object

Describe its color, size, and position so the instruction points to the right area.

  2. 02

    Protect the subject

Say what must remain untouched, especially a person, product, or foreground edge.

  3. 03

    Describe the fill

Ask for the same background texture, depth, and light to continue naturally.

How to use an object remover

Upload a photo and describe the unwanted item in the editor. Give its position and appearance, then name the details that should stay. A request to remove a cup on the right side of a wooden table is easier to interpret than a request to clean up the picture.

Match the replacement area

An object remover reconstructs the obscured scene; it cannot recover the original pixels hidden behind the object. Describe the surrounding material, such as pavement or wood grain, and review the transition at full size. Straight lines, text, reflections, and repeated patterns deserve particular attention.

When the object overlaps the subject

An object crossing a face, hand, or product label is harder to remove without changing it. Try a different source image or use a tool with a precise selection. This workspace uses whole-image instructions and does not offer a brush mask.

Can I remove several objects at once?

You can describe multiple items, but separate edits make it easier to check each change.

Can I remove a person instead?

Yes, describe the person and the setting. See remove a person from a photo for advice on overlaps and crowds.

Read the photo editing prompt guide for more ways to describe an edit.

BEFORE YOU SHARE

Look for a believable repair.

Object removal can create repeated textures, warped edges, or missing parts.

  • Inspect the repaired area at full size for repeating patterns.
  • Check neighboring outlines, hands, clothing, or product edges.
  • Compare perspective and lighting with the original scene.
The current editor uses a whole-image text prompt and does not provide a brush mask. Complex overlaps may require a dedicated masking tool.
